Elder Abuse

As the population of elderly citizen’s grows, there are more opportunities for unscrupulous individuals to take advantage of those who rely increasingly on others for support and services. Financial abuse can be perpetrated by almost anyone intent on separating an individual from their savings and includes family members, care givers, and vendors of every description.  California law is particularly protective of the rights of seniors defined by statute as any California resident over the age of sixty-five.
